CTF is a virtual training, with a scenario designed to give participants a hands-on experience in a realistic cyber-fight, based on the well-known military formula Capture the flag. The trainee is supposed to search and identify flags hidden in the system by the creators of the training.
CTF shows the methods by which the participant connects to the machines in the training. The simulations train users in detecting vulnerabilities in virtual machines and allow learning the ways that can be exploited by various tools, such as the Metasploit framework.
The trainee tries to perform forensic investigation of the provided log file and stop a live attack aimed at one of the machines.
The training contains a number of different tasks, typical for the CTF formula, which are described in the instructions available on the platform. Participants’ skills and knowledge will be tested and evaluated by CDeX cybersecurity experts. At the end of the training the participant will receive a report with a summary of their performance.

All technical persons working on the following positions are invited to participate in the training:
– Security Specialist
– System, Application or Network Administrator
– Programmer
Basic knowledge of Linux is essential, because many of the machines operate on this system.

The training takes place in a cloud version of the CDeX cybernetic training range and lasts 3 hours. After confirming the registration for the selected training session, the participant will receive access data to the platform to their e-mail address. The participant must have a computer with any Internet browser, a PDF reader installed and an efficient Internet connection.
